Travel day to Riviera Maya (please use the Cancun airport CUN for flight booking)

*** Check-in time is 4:00pm. Early check-in was requested for early arrivals but this is not guaranteed.  

Upon arrival in Cancun, please completely exit the airport and you will find an AMSTAR representative  wearing a blue Hawaiian shirt, holding Matillion sign for your transfer to the hotel. Do not stop at the counters inside as they are for timeshare sales. You want to completely exit the airport. Please see your Travefy individual itinerary for full details on pickup.

• You can use the pool/beach while waiting to check in to your room while also storing your luggage. The spa/gym is available to change and shower once you arrive.
• Reminder: complimentary water sports (kayaks & SUPs) are available for guests at the beach every day from 9:00am-4:00pm.

6:30-8:00pm: Welcome Reception. Please join us at the Legendary Lounge and Terrace at UNICO2087. The terrace is located on the 2nd floor of the main building above Bar Balam and the Front Desk. Please follow the Matillion signs upstairs (also an elevator if needed) to the Welcome Party!

Appetizers and Drinks will be served.

Prior to arrival, plan ahead for dinner reservations by emailing UNICO2087 at prearrivalhost@unicohotelrm.com. In the email provide the hotel with your name, hotel confirmation number (found in your Travefy itinerary sent by EGT) and request and they will send over a confirmation of the reservation! We highly recommend downloading the Unico app (search UNICO2087) in the app store.  Once you check in, you can make dinner additional reservations at restaurants, spa services, activities at the hotel, and view the daily schedule of offerings. Without a reservation it is difficult to get ideal dining times/restaurants.   Once you choose the restaurant and select an available time, choose Make a Reservation and follow the link, then choose then insert your Name and Room Number confirmation number and click confirm. An email confirmation will be sent to you from the restaurant.  I do apologize as reservation part is in Spanish but you just need to include Nombre (Name), Correo (Email), Telefono, Fecha (Date), and select the restaurant.

Breakfast on your own. Breakfast is served at both Mi Carisa and UNICO 2087 Restaurant from 7:00 - 11:00am. Inez Cafe has fresh juices, coffee, tea, and baked goods in the morning, while the menu transitions to sandwiches, paninis, and meal-sized salads for lunch and dinner. Inez is open from 6:00am - 11:00pm.

Today is all yours to enjoy some rest and relaxation.

Today is all yours!

Breakfast on your own. Breakfast is served at both Mi Carisa and 2087 Restaurant from 7:00 - 11:00am. Inez Cafe has fresh juices, coffee, tea, and baked goods in the morning, while the menu transitions to sandwiches, paninis, and meal-sized salads for lunch and dinner. Inez is open from 6:00am - 11:00pm.

  10am - There are local hats in all guest rooms. Those are yours to keep, and today on the Nayade Terrace, there will be a local artisan available to decorate your hat complimentary.

Don't forget available from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily complimentary:

• Single and Double Sea Kayaks
• SUP Tables (stand up paddle boards)

12:00 - 4:00pm:  Join us at the 20°87° Pool at the reserved cabanas by Matillion for a DJ set, pool volleyball, and some afternoon fun.

This event is in the 20°87° Pool - The most central pool, where guests can enjoy a swim up bar and daily energetic sets from a DJ. Its sophisticated dark blue color provides a warmer water temperature.

There are 3 pools on property, for those looking for a more mellow experience we recommend La Escondida pool.  Here guests can experience a true sense of escape, with supremely mellow music and comfy seating. The water temperature in this pool is a bit more refreshing, and features a hydro pool.

Finally if you want to watch the action but not be in the center of it we recommend the third pool, La UNICA Pool.  This pool is large and lively—a place to socialize and hang out with a drink or two. Its sophisticated dark blue color provides a warmer water temperature.

Dinner: At Leisure. Here is a link to the restaurant options on property that are included. We highly recommend making reservations as soon as you check-in to the property. You will also be designated with a butler for the duration of your stay who can assist in making reservations as well. Our favorite restaurants are Mura House and Unico 2087.
